About Matilda

Name: Matilda (known affectionately as Tilly) Age/DOB: Estimated under 1 year old Colour/Markings: Black Breed: Domestic semi-longhair Sex: Female Tilly is a complete and utter minx with a huge personality! She is very young herself—likely not even a year old—but has already raised a whopping six kittens. She was a brilliant mum, though she made it very clear she was over motherhood the second her babies learned to walk. In Tilly’s book, walking equals self-sufficient! With humans, Tilly is an absolute sweetheart. She is gentle, incredibly affectionate, and loves being involved in everything you do. She’ll happily curl up on your bed, greet you at the door, and trail you from room to room—partly for the company, and partly on the off chance that food might appear. She also firmly believes that Zoom meetings are designed specifically for her to jump up and demand all-important strokies. Work can wait; Tilly needs fuss! She purrs like a trooper, loves playtime, and is a hilarious, curious little cat who brings so much joy to a home. Food is also VERY exciting to Tilly—she loves her meals and is particularly enthusiastic about Dreamies! Home Requirements & Preferences • The Only Cat: After raising six kittens, Tilly feels she has done quite enough feline socialising for one lifetime. She has no desire to share her space with other cats and must be the only pet in the home (no dogs either) so she can rule the roost. • Outdoor Access: Before coming into foster care, Tilly lived in a garden with her babies. She remains very interested in the big wide world, so she needs a home with safe outdoor access, ideally a catio, or securely enclosed garden. • Human Companionship & Health: She is great with children and would thrive with humans who have plenty of time to lavish her with attention, play, and fuss. Tilly is already spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations scheduled. Tilly has had a lot to cope with in her short life. Now, she is ready to put motherhood firmly behind her and concentrate on what truly matters: eating, playing, sleeping on the bed, interrupting work calls, and being thoroughly adored.
