About Rusty

This handsome little chap is Rusty, around 17 weeks old, and he is looking for a very special home of his own. 🥰 Rusty was born on a fairground site and, because he had very limited contact with people during his early life, he can still be nervous and unsure around humans. He needs an adopter who understands that building trust takes time, patience and plenty of love. ❤️ But just look at how far this little boy has come! 🥹 Since being in foster, Rusty’s confidence has grown so much. He is now accepting gentle tickles and will even allow himself to be picked up for cuddles — something that seemed a long way off when he first arrived. 🐾 Rusty is also SO funny! 😂 He has the most entertaining sleeping positions and regularly has his foster family wondering how on earth he can possibly be comfortable! One minute he’s being a serious little explorer and the next he’s completely upside down, curled into some ridiculous position and fast asleep. 😴🤣 He really is a gorgeous character who is beginning to show us more and more of his personality as his confidence grows. Rusty needs a calm, patient and understanding home where he can continue his journey at his own pace. He doesn’t need someone who expects an instantly confident kitten — he needs someone who will celebrate the little victories, give him the time he needs and show him that people can be trusted. We know that with patience, love and understanding, Rusty will continue to blossom into a wonderful companion.
